We all know about the benefits OptiMSM® and Collagen offer for the skin. But what if we told you they work even better when combined?
A recent study1 investigated the effects of collagen supplementation with or without MSM on skin health in women (aged 40-65). At week 12 only those receiving both MSM and collagen saw improvements in skin thickness, hydration and roughness.
Additionally, while supplemental collagen alone reduced skin roughness, the effect was significantly greater in the group that received both OptiMSM® and collagen together. In this article, we will dive into the benefits of Benicaros® for gut health.
A recent study1 compared the prebiotic effects of three well-known dietary fibres of various specificity (i.e. structural complexity) on the intestinal microbiota of healthy adults. Results demonstrated that Benicaros® significantly increased a broad spectrum of operational taxonomic units with 40% lower gas production than traditional prebiotics. Benicaros® selectively stimulated species of bacteria that were consistently present among human adults, resulting in lower microbiota composition differences between subjects.
