One of the most important contributions seaweed makes to the environment is through a process called carbon sequestration.
Seaweed functions like other plant life in that it takes in carbon and releases oxygen, but does so on a much greater scale thanks to its high growth rates.
Kelp, for example, can grow by as much as 60cm in one day and soaks up as much as 600 million tonnes of carbon every year.1 Once carbon dioxide is locked within the seaweed, it can be harvested for use or stored underground where it cannot negatively impact the climate.2

PureWay-C® is different from other forms of vitamin C because it includes naturally derived lipid metabolites and citrus bioflavonoids to enhance the uptake, distribution and release kinetics of ascorbic acid.
Research conducted (available on request) compared cellular uptake of several forms of vitamin C and found that two hours after intake, human T-lymphocyte treated with PureWay-C® contained higher vitamin C level than any other treatment group evaluated.

A recently published study (2021) with Bacognize®, reported numerous findings in emotional and mental wellbeing, alertness, focus, impact on sleep, stress, and other quality of life markers.
The ability of Bacognize® to help with alertness and focus has been seen in previous clinical studies, including when subjects were under stressful test taking circumstances (Kumar et al, 2016)1. Previous studies also have looked at the mechanistic abilities of Bacognize® to interact on HT1a receptors associated with serotonin uptake. With this knowledge, researchers examined the ability of Bacognize® to act as an adaptogen, modulating the serotonin / melatonin pathways associated with alertness, focus, and a healthy circadian rhythm.

A new study finds that iodine deficiency significantly decreases fertility success in females. Iodine is an essential component of the thyroid hormones T3 and T4, which means that inadequate intake can result in hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid). This can result in subsequent adverse effects on female fertility by impairing the developmental process of ovarian follicles and ovulation1.
It is imperative that women of childbearing age – particularly those who are hoping to conceive in the future – achieve an adequate iodine intake, as neurological development of the foetus begins in very early pregnancy2. Despite this, Europe is now considered an iodine deficient continent3.
