Quite a lot has happened over the last two years at LEHVOSS Nutrition with our ingredients and new applications. Here is a taste of what you will find at our stand.

LEHVOSS Nutrition is pleased to announce that Longvida® Optimized Curcumin® has won the “Nutrition Research Project” at the Nutraingredients USA Awards 2021. The award was obtained thanks to the recent 12-weeks, double-blind, placebo-controlled, partial replication study published in 2020, which confirmed further evidence of Longvida® benefits to mood and working memory in healthy older people.

The research addresses a global public health concern regarding the need for cognitive support through improved mood, working memory, spatial memory, concentration, sustained attention, and fatigue. Many of these attributes have been linked to cognitive decline.

Iodine can be found naturally in a few food sources, particularly white fish, dairy and seaweed – with seaweed being the only natural and good source of this essential nutrient iodine. For artificial supplementation, synthetic potassium iodide is used. One way in which synthetic sources of iodine differ from natural sources is the way in which the body absorbs the nutrient. Iodine is an essential nutrient in the diet, and one that is increasingly lacking. In a recent report from the Iodine Global Network cites an EU funded project that concludes “Europe is an iodine deficient continent”.

Our coconut water powder is 100% cold water soluble and vegan, with no added ingredients and with minimum 6000mg per 100g of potassium content on specification. This is a great product for creating functional beverages, offering interesting solutions for sports nutrition products. The delicate “fresh coconut” flavour and aroma makes it an ideal ingredient for ready to drink sachets, liquid shots, superfood blends and other interesting applications that require a natural source of potassium and where solubility and good taste are fundamental.

Generally speaking, coconut water powder offers a convenient way to formulate and consume coconut water, providing all the benefits of pure coconut water without the need of using preservatives or refrigeration to maintain its stability. Coconut is a good source of natural B vitamins and minerals, mainly magnesium and potassium, which are key electrolytes that would need to be replaced for proper rehydration. Potassium also plays a key role in maintaining muscle and nerve function.

Tinofend® is a proprietary Tinospora cordifolia extract, standardised to active polysaccharides, with clinical studies showing positive benefits on immune function, antihistamine, adaptogenic and allergy support. Scientific research on Tinofend® has shown significant decrease of symptoms related to allergic rhinitis, stimulation of the activity of white blood cells, which regulate the immune response and reduction of the number of eosinophils (immune cells that release histamine). This makes Tinofend® an interesting ingredient for allergies and immunity support.

PureWay-C® is different from other forms of vitamin C because it includes naturally derived lipid metabolites of lipid triglycerides and citrus bioflavonoids to enhance the uptake, distribution and release kinetics of ascorbic acid.
