Published clinical studies on both Longvida® and WokVel® offer a good amount of data to demonstrate the potential benefits from a dual mechanism approach to joint comfort and functionality through both 5-LOX and COX-2 pathways. The most relevant results supporting this approach are shown in the new WokVel® & Longvida® Infographic available in our electronic folder and LEHVOSS Nutrition website.
Known for its 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) inhibition activity, Boswellia serrata has been used traditionally as a joint solution supporting improved mobility, comfort, joint integrity, and healthy joint aging. Curcuma longa has a well-known and established cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibition activity for favourable benefits promoting healthy joints, supporting improved antioxidant capacity, joint comfort, functionality, and healthy joint aging.

As part of our new PlantNutra® range, we are pleased to introduce Holy Basil as a signature ingredient by Verdure Sciences® (the makers of Longvida®).
Holy basil is often used in adaptogenic solutions targeting wellbeing, promoting calming attributes, alleviating stress, and offering restorative benefits for a balanced mood, emotional wellbeing and mental vitality. Therefore we feel it may be an interesting ingredient for a synergetic combination with Ashwagandha, Restoridyn®, Longvida® or Bacognize®.
In Ayurveda, holy basil is a rasayana. Rasayanas are said to promote homeostasis, bring the body into balance, and restore the body's vitality.

One of the most important contributions seaweed makes to the environment is through a process called carbon sequestration.
Seaweed functions like other plant life in that it takes in carbon and releases oxygen, but does so on a much greater scale thanks to its high growth rates.
Kelp, for example, can grow by as much as 60cm in one day and soaks up as much as 600 million tonnes of carbon every year.1 Once carbon dioxide is locked within the seaweed, it can be harvested for use or stored underground where it cannot negatively impact the climate.2
