Our partners Verdure Sciences® have recently been awarded the Union for Ethical BioTrade/Rainforest Alliance (UEBT/RA) certificate for turmeric & its Sustainable Turmeric Program (STP). The Sustainable Procurement Program (SPP) was established to define, structure, and drive ethical, profitable, sustainable and certifiable initiatives for the plants procured and processed throughout Verdure’s supply chains.

The Sustainable Turmeric Program (STP) is a case study highlighting turmeric sustainability and traceability which began as a pilot program with 5 farmers covering 7 acres and has now expanded to include more than 310 farmers and nearly 640 acres of land, with a goal to expand with additional farmers, acreage and geographical locations.

We are extremely proud to be partnered with principals such as Golden Omega® who have committed to a sustainability strategy based around four pillars: environmental care, comprehensive development of their team, to promote business ethics and add value to the community.

For the second consecutive year, Golden Omega® have conducted a survey to understand the perception of employees, customers, suppliers and the community on their performance in environmental, social and governance issues, and therefore obtaining the SSIndex certification. They had a great response this year, improving on last year on both suppliers’ and customers’ ratings.

Are you looking for your next food supplement idea? It is time to take a look at one of the new ingredients, recently approved for the European market, from Unigen, a US based manufacturer who offer scientifically proven plant-based blends, using ingredients from nature, which are carefully researched.

Attenutin™ is a specially formulated, patent-pending natural bioflavonoid composition, clinically proven to support the mucous membrane lining of the respiratory system and healthy lung function. A clinical study was conducted with 50 participants, over 56 days, comparing a daily dosage of 500mg Attenutin™ administered morning and night to placebo.
