Virgin coconut oil is obtained by shredding the coconut flesh, heating it up to remove moisture and then pressing the heated shred in an expeller at 55 degrees celcius. Following the pressing, the oil is filtered by a series of press filters to remove small particles from the oil.

Coconut oil is one of the highest quality oils for cooking, frying, baking and moisturizing.  In the Food Supplement industry, coconut oil might offer an interesting alternative for soft gel applications and allows formulation with other ingredients. 

Coconut oil contains a unique combination of fatty acids. It is solid under 25 degrees celcius and has a typical coconut aroma.
